For all of us who've ever tilted our heads to orient ourselves on a paper map, this one's for you.
There's a famous quote attributed to Steve Jobs: "Microwaves should have just one button, 'add 30 sec.' Although there's no proof he actually said that the concept is great. Many things can and should be simpler.
Today, we're excited to announce Better Wayfinding. It's free, can be setup in about 20 minutes, works on most touchscreens and modern browsers, and doesn't require any sensors to get started.
The most common navigation tool in buildings is a paper floorplan pinned to a wall. It's usually upside down, filled with lots of room numbers and hard to decipher landmarks, and often feels like a safety feature more than a tool to find your way.
So, for all of us who've ever tilted our head to orient ourselves on a paper map, this one's for you.
Better Wayfinding has three simple features:
1. Tap to navigate
2. Tap to search
3. And automatic routing
For access, you'll need to send us a note if you'd like to get set up. Until this type of tool is self-serve, we will be limiting access to qualified customers (i.e. large enough spaces to benefit from dedicated wayfinding).
