Choose Density for defined room-use measurement and a workplace planning review. Compare the proposed workflow with Logitech booking, environmental and Sync requirements.

Density Waffle reports anonymous occupancy categories for rooms. Instant's public demonstration shows workplace questions producing charts. Together, they give a workplace team a way to investigate how rooms are used before changing the space.
Logitech Spot combines radar presence detection, environmental sensing and Sync occupancy insights, with supported room-booking automations. Compare the workflow your team needs to operate.
Consider two requests from the same office:
Those requests need different demonstrations. The first requires a defined occupancy measure and a historical analysis. The second requires sensor events, calendar rules and a working booking integration. An occupied-room signal alone does not prove either workflow is ready.
If your rooms already use Logitech equipment, list the existing devices, calendar resources and service plans before comparing proposals. Ask which parts of that setup can serve the new measurement requirement.
Logitech's Spot product page describes radar-based presence, environmental measurements, battery or USB-C power, and Bluetooth or gateway connectivity. Check the outlet, cable route or battery maintenance plan for each room.
Spot's booking automations and Sync insights require a Logitech service license. Logitech's Auto Book and Release guide also specifies a room, calendar resource and supported hardware. Confirm those dependencies in the proposal and demonstrate the configured workflow.
Logitech documents room occupancy insights, including room and seat-use views in Sync. Ask which measurements the proposed Spot setup supplies and which depend on other devices. Review the actual output rather than assuming that every device in a platform provides the same information.
Density Waffle reports zero, one, two or three-plus people. For a small-room program, those categories separate vacancy, individual use and group use. Three-plus is a capped category; it cannot establish the exact size of a larger meeting.
Waffle uses plug-in power and Wi-Fi. Check outlet access, cable placement and network approval for each proposed room. Its powered design removes sensor battery replacement from that deployment's maintenance plan.
Density Instant demonstrates questions about available meeting rooms, free phone booths and large rooms used by small groups. Ask Density to show the room boundaries, reporting period and measure behind the answer. Then follow the chart into the planning review your team needs to run.
| Buying question | Demonstration to request |
|---|---|
| Do we need a different room mix? | Follow anonymous occupancy categories into a historical room-use comparison and the resulting space decision. |
| Can an empty booked room become available? | Show the sensor event, configured timeout, calendar change and availability display together. |
| Are room conditions part of the project? | Identify the environmental measurements and service features included in the proposed setup. |
| Can our team operate the system? | Confirm power, connectivity, permissions, maintenance and support ownership. |
These are proposed buying checks, not results from a completed comparison. Use representative rooms and the same observation period when evaluating both proposals.
Request a quote covering the hardware, software, required host devices or gateways, installation and integration work. A sensor purchase price alone does not establish the cost of the room program.
For a Density proposal, bring your room list and the decision you need to make to a demo, or email sales@density.io. Ask to see Waffle's occupancy categories carried through to the workplace analysis, so your team can assess the full workflow.
